Quest Wellington requires a part time receptionist / reservationist to join our fun and friendly front office team. Your main priority is to manage reservations and ensure a warm welcome to our guests with a high level of professionalism, and a positive attitude.

The successful applicant will be required to work one weekend day from 9am ? 5pm, one weekday from 11.30am ? 8pm and may also be required to work some public holidays or agreed additional hours from time to time. The successful applicant must also be available to be on call one night per week in exchange for a fixed fee, either at the property (apartment included) or within a maximum of 5 minutes of the property.

?         Be extremely reliable in attending shifts (on time) and have great work ethic.

?         Have the ability to work both with a team and on their own, whilst managing their own time.

?         Be flexible in their availability (will have to work some weekends and selected public holidays).

?         Have a high standard of personal presentation.

?         Be ambitious in future development.

?         A 'can do' attitude.

?         A good sense of humour is a must!


Your day to day duties would include:

?         Greeting guests on Check In, Check Out and assisting them with anything they may require.

?         Answering the telephone and diverting enquiries as required.

?         Making bookings through our RMS system.

?         Taking enquiries and up-selling bookings via email and telephone.

?         Manage deliveries from couriers and enquiries.

?         Manage online inventory (loading rates and images for the property).

?         Open and close the property including conducting a Night Audit.

?         Any other administrative duties as required.

?         Assisting with the social media for Quest Wellington.


Please note, this position is open to applicants who are legally allowed to work in New Zealand. You must have the right to live and work in this location to apply for this job. The successful applicant will be seeking a long-term position at the company, and will be eager to learn and upskill.
