Auckland Clinical Studies is a clinical pharmacology contract organisation, conducting research studies on behalf of international pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies

ACS is seeking an administrative assistant for a part time role within our organisation.  Our dynamic research team focuses on the conduct of mainly early phase studies in both healthy volunteer and patient groups.


Key Responsibilities/Tasks

Performs general clerical duties to include but not limited to preparing various documents, maintaining records as appropriate, photocopying, collation, scanning, mailing and filing.

Assists in all administrative tasks related to nursing support.

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Clinical Nurse Manager

Approximately 30 hours per week, as required.


Knowledge, skills, and abilities required

Must have flexibility to work weekdays, school holidays, public holidays, and/or as required

Must be self-motivated, well organised and able to follow carefully defined processes

Meticulous attention to detail and able to work unsupervised

Ability to work independently.

Strong Microsoft Office suite skills

Ability to prioritize to work on multiple tasks/projects at one time

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and personable manner


Preferred:  Work experience in an administrative position, or academic experience that shows requirement for attention to detail and scientific understanding, and/or experience in hospitality/medical administration/reception duties.
