Maynard Marks is a professional property and building consultancy offering a wide range of specialist services for both residential and commercial property owners and occupiers. Operating within Auckland's CBD we have a growing team of enthusiastic, innovative and dedicated staff.

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to provide financial, administrative and clerical services to support our growing finance department.

We are looking for a well presented, articulate candidate who prides themselves in their attention to detail, high level of accuracy and efficient time management.

Key responsibilities will include:    

·      Assisting with accounts receivable and month end processes

·      Assisting with accounts payable, monthly reconciliations and supplier enquiries

·      Petty Cash reconciliation

·      Expense claim, mileage and credit card reconciliations

·      Assisting with job management processes    

·      General administrative support to the finance team

We would expect that you have a tertiary qualification in accounting, knowledge of office administration and bookkeeping procedure as well as experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. An intermediate/advanced knowledge and skill level for Microsoft Word and Excel will be required and experience with Xero and WorkflowMax would be an advantage.
