We are looking for qualified CA’s to join our busy Finance team. We are lucky to have both a Financial Accountant and a Management Accountant role on offer!

Financial Accountant (reference 5776)

If you’re someone that likes to get to the root of a problem, look no further. You're an experienced Financial Accountant with a hunger to learn and a passion for achieving results. You will be well-versed in preparing monthly financial accounts including reconciliations, journals and annual and half year statutory financial statements.

You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved with Board and NZSX reporting, and provide technical accounting advice and support to the business.

Working in a fast-paced, large organisation is nothing new to you and you have the knowledge and experience to know what the reporting requirements of a large publicly listed company include.

Spotting things that don’t look quite right and analysing complex numerical information is your forte - your analytical skills are what will set you apart from the rest!

You’ve got the smarts but equally important to us is your personality. You will be an integral member of the team and enjoy interacting with a variety of people.

Management Accountant (reference 5775)

It’s safe to say that this is a grunty role. The work is varied and the team are busy.

Your work will span far and wide - ensuring the efficient preparation of monthly management accounts, including preparation of month end journals, work papers and balance sheet reconciliations.

You will partner with the business to achieve operational excellence, ensuring the delivery of high quality advice and accurate financial information regarding monthly cost centre operating expenditure, budgeting, and forecasting to support business activity.

This role will also contribute to the preparation of group management reports, including financial reports to the CEO and Board, including comprehensive analysis of results and trends.

With your strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously, you’ll have a natural flair to prioritise and juggle multiple deadlines. You’re a big picture thinker and are constantly looking for better and more efficient ways of doing things.

You’ll be a people person with strong relationship management skills who is driven by providing exceptional advice, making choice decisions and achieving successful outcomes for their customers.
