Postie+ is owned by Pepkor, under the company name 'Postie Plus Group Limited'.  Pepkor is an international retailer with operations in 15 companies on three continents, including Southern Africa, Australia and Eastern Europe. The group, established in 1965, manages a portfolio of retail chains selling predominantly clothing, footwear and textiles.  The group trades from over 3,000 stores and employs close to 32,000 people and is now in New Zealand. 

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the fast paced, friendly finance team at Postie+.  The core function of this role is to ensure the efficient processing of all foreign currency vendor transactions.    The majority of our foreign currency transactions are stock related, so you will be matching invoices to purchase order receipts  and ensuring goods received and not invoiced are monitored closely.  You will be liaising with the logistics and merchandising teams and will give you a good understanding of stock flow through the business.

 

We are a small team who rely on supporting each other, therefore you need to have a positive upbeat attitude and be willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in to help others out. 

The successful applicant will have the following experience and skills:

  • A minimum of 2years experience in an accounts payable role (experience dealing with foreign currency would be an advantage)
  • An understanding of the Accounts Payable function as a whole will be a benefit
  • An intermediate level of excel and word
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Be a team player
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Experience in Navision would be preferred
