2017 sees us entering the next phase of a well-planned step change in the scope and application of our solutions that has expanded not only our current clients, but opened new industry sectors and geographical markets.

We are offering three roles for people seeking to use their finance or accounting and software experience to move their careers into a field that will see them working with a variety of projects that scope and deliver client needs.

Client business processes vary considerably, and legal compliance is rigid, so it is essential you thrive in an environment where problems arise continuously, and solutions are thoroughly researched before being scoped for the client or presented to the software team.  In our environment innovation is only as valuable as the solid reasoning and research upon which it is founded.

Communication is the key to any role, in our environment your communication scope is very wide.  You will work directly with clients, project managers and software developers.  They have varying levels of understanding of business process and software solutions, and can be multinational.  Therefore your communication skills must not only be strong in terms of English use, but you must be able explain, discuss and negotiate technical and business concepts to create sound outcomes.

You will work directly with clients throughout New Zealand, and the east coast of Australia and while the travel is not excessive, it can require you to make trips at relatively short notice if a project has encountered difficulties that require your presence.

The appointment of these roles is vital to our success in this next phase of our development, and we have asked our strategic partners to assist in the selection process.  They are not a recruitment company and their process will be different from that which you will have previously encountered.  As a first stage they ask that, in addition to your resume, you also send an additional document providing a brief summary of your experience in the following areas:

1. Details of the finance or business processes you have managed including: the software systems you have used, and the nature of the industries you have worked within.  

2. An example of a key challenge you faced with the payroll you managed and how you

- analysed and determined a solution to the problem 

- implemented the solution

- engaged with managers affected by the solution

3. Your experience in working with staff and clients who are multicultural and geographically distanced.   What type of projects or work you were undertaking, and how you managed the communication exchanges verbally and in writing.

4. Provide two or three key essentials that have assisted you bridge the technical gap between compliance/technical constraints and requirements and the delivery of solution to a client.

5. Outline the methods you engage to manage multiple projects, ensuring engagement for all parties, and how you have addressed or avoided project creep.

In terms of package, as there are three roles available, we are happy to discuss an appropriate package in accordance with the level of experience you will bring to our company.
