Experienced Accounting Administrator

 

We now have an opportunity for someone with proven experience in a financial, accounting or commercial environment to join our fun team in our Christchurch Advertising Agency.

 

This hands-on position involves management of all day-to-day Accounting and Administrative Functions through to draft (or final) quarterly and annual financial statements.  Support is provided externally by a Chartered Accountant.

Attributes required are:

 

  • Experience with Accounting Software (Pegasus would be an advantage) and a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Sound knowledge of tax, PAYE, GST and FBT
  • Solid accounting knowledge
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Absolute discretion and confidentiality
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Pleasant and helpful attitude
