Our business is well established and ambitious, providing professional services to an impressive portfolio of clients in New Zealand and Australia. We are looking for a keen Accounts professional to work alongside our Group Financial Controller who is responsible for all financial functions.

Your tasks will mainly be:

  • Sales invoicing, receipts and credit control
  • Supplier invoice entry, payments and reconciliation
  • Payroll processing and reporting
  • Bank processing and bank reconciliation
  • Preparation of GST and PAYE returns
  • Petty cash and credit card reconciliations
  • Job costing analysis

You will need the following key skills and attributes:

  • Strong analytic and critical thinking skills with an attention to detail
  • Accounting system experience (Reckon/ MYOB/ Xero)
  • NZ Payroll system experience (IMS Payroll)
  • PAYE and GST return experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills throughout the organisation
  • An effective and results focused work style
  • Hardworking and resilient
