Our client owns and operates an expanding business in the building construction industry. They pride themselves on innovation and sustainability within their business operations and have total commitment to customer service.

We are currently seeking someone who has experience as an Accounts Payable administrator to join our client's small and efficient administration team. Knowledge of the building industry would be desirable but not essential.

You will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for completing all accounts payable tasks including processing a high volume of invoices, reconciliations and communications with suppliers.

You will be based in reception and will be required to also perform reception duties and other administrative tasks.

  • The successful applicant will have:
  • Accounts payable experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong data entry skills (accuracy and speed)
  • Ability to operate in a Microsoft environment, including spreadsheets
  • Understanding of general ledger coding
  • Good time management to meet deadlines
  • Desire to work positively in a team environment
