The Role

As the Company Accountant you will be responsible for the accounting, reporting, risk management and delivering commercially insightful analysis to the stakeholders of the Group. The Company Accountant will be responsible for Flo2Cash and its subsidiaries (collectively "the Group".)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage the Company's finance and accounting team.
  • Manage the Group's accounting, finance, taxation and payroll functions in order to maintain compliance with applicable laws and internal audit policies.
  • Standard accounting functions including (but not limited to) consolidating reports, budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable management, preparation of financial accounts.  
  • Ensuring the stakeholders and key management are fully informed of the Group's financial position and are provided with all relevant information to carry out their statutory and legal obligations.
  • Regular reporting and advice to the Company's stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the financial health of the Company and recommended KPI's, accordingly.
  • Leading a disciplined finance function including budgeting, financial modelling, employee incentive plans and data analysis.
  • Design and maintain a framework for continuous financial forecasting and reporting.
  • Manage the overall Human Resource function. Knowledge of employment and human resource laws is advantageous.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for the company's processes and procedures.
  • Ensure the ongoing soundness of the Group's financial structure in relation to relevant legislation. Ensure that the company complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and control risk identification, risk management, compliance and assessment across the Group and ensure appropriate risk management controls are in place.
  • Collaborate with sales team on cost analysis for new customer contracts.


Qualities & Experience Required

  • A professionally qualified CA/CPA.
  • Proven experience (more than five years) as a Company Accountant, Senior Accountant or equivalent role and relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Extensive knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles and automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state financial regulations & statutory requirements.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders across a diverse range of technical expertise and seniority.
