Northern Accessories is a leading importer & wholesaler to the motorcycle industry in New Zealand and has a great opportunity for an experienced accounts administrator to join our team at our Otahuhu office.

You will be capable of processing accounts to trial balance, have strong reconciliation skills, possess a comprehensive understanding of office processes and systems and ideally have experience with inventory control. This is a sole-charge position and you will need the skills necessary to oversee workflow from other locations to ensure timely processing in order to meet deadlines.

 

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Strong administration skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience within an importing environment would be an advantage but not essential
  • A team player
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • GL Reconciliations
  • Cashbook and bank reconciliations
  • MYOB PAYROLL
  • PAYE
  • Online banking, domestic and international transactions
  • Creditors input
  • Debtors input
  • Month End processing
  • Maintaining Fixed Asset register
  • General office duties (processing debtor payments, collecting mail, ordering office stationery)
  • MS Office Suite, banking & accounting software

 

An interest in the motorcycle industry would be advantageous but not essential.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
