The Role:

  • Reconcile and process creditor invoices for payment
  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Process Creditor invoices for payment
  • Process staff expenses and payments
  • Payroll processing and reconciliation
  • IRD filing and payments - GST, monthly PAYE/withholding tax, Income tax
  • Process property sales
  • Maintain Petty Cash
  • Respond to all correspondence from Accountants, IRD and ASB
  • Perform end of financial year requirements
  • All financial filing

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Xero experienced preferred
  • At least 2-3 years accounting experience/understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficient in Word & Excel
  • Demonstrate high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to pick up new systems
  • Experience with real estate transaction a bonus
  • Proactive and work with minimal supervision
  • Punctual & reliable

This is part-time permanent role, 20 - 25 hours a week with flexible start/finish times, Monday to Friday, and would suit someone looking to get back into the workforce and or looking for flexible hours.
