RCR ENERGY LIMITED

RCR Energy requires an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Finance team, based in our office in central Napier.  

This busy role will provide all transactional accounts payable administration for the Energy division including receiving invoices, dispatching and checking appropriate payment approvals, data entry, batching, payment, reconciliation and filing.  General administration duties such as reception may also be required from time to time.  

As we are in a busy period with several projects on the go, the ideal candidate will need to be self-starter who can take ownership of the processes quickly.   Our preferred candidate must have at least 5 years previous experience in an accounts payable role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.  Previous experience with SAP would be highly advantageous.  

Other key skills and attributes include:

  • High level of computer skills, particularly in Word and Excel
  • Very strong attention to detail, particularly numerical data
  • Strong planning, organisational, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service, while demonstrating effective problem solving skills  
  • Excellent communication skills which can be tailored to  a wide range of people
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
