Reporting to the CEO, this position is a fixed term maternity leave cover. You will provide financial leadership and commercial acumen to ensure all parts of the business work collaboratively to generate the best financial result possible. 
As a member of the management team you will be engaged in strategic planning & decisions and provide key risk analysis for the business.

Key responsibilities are:
• Management Accounting - budgets, forecasts, variance analysis etc. 
• Financial transactions – invoice management, payroll, reconciliations, GST returns, interim and year-end financial statements. 
• Risk and compliance work 
• Treasury management 
• Management of a team of 4 people 

To be successful in this role you will need to be tertiary qualified in a relevant degree, have financial and management accounting experience. You will have proven analytical/ problem solving experience with a high attention to detail, and have managed staff previously.
You will also have a real affinity for the rural sector.
