Newcomb Digital is a busy digital print and marketing company based in Parnell.

We are looking for an 'Accounts Star' to start as soon as possible.

You will report directly to the Directors and will be an integral part of the team.

 

About the role

  • Receive, verify, code and input sales and supplier invoices/credit notes
  • The preparation and reconciliation of monthly accounts payable and receivable. Listing and payment thereof
  • To attend to the supplier and debtors account queries on a timely basis
  • Prepare GST and other statutory returns as required
  • Reconcile and process daily banking
  • Manage the payroll process for the company
  • Maintain an adequate company filing system
  • Manage credit control to ensure invoices are paid on time
  • Preparing month end and year end reports
  • Other reasonable tasks that may from time to time be required by senior management
  • Have a working knowledge of current NZ employment law

 

 

About you

  • 3 years minimum experience in accounts AR/PR/Payroll
  • Excellent front line presentation and communication, great phone manner
  • Excellent command of English and a good understanding of AP & AR – book keeping
  • Conscientious, punctual, organised and honest
  • Computer literate, experience of Xero accounting software, payroll and Estimation software.
  • Ability to understand and identify issues, articulate these clearly to others and progress to a positive resolution
  • Unflappable, practical nature and analytical style, hands on
  • You must be a New Zealand Resident and reside in New Zealand
  • You must be prepared to submit to a NZ Police criminal convictions report
