About the business and the role

We require a person who is reliable, honest and trustworthy, with a friendly yet professional disposition, who also finds it easy to interact with other people. That person also needs to be a team player as we are a small team with one focus, "to provide a stress free and professional  service for our clients".

We have 3 companies which work within the Marine Industry with our busiest time of the year being between September and May . During that time your hours may vary but on average you will be required to work a 40 hour week.

At the moment we are a small company but we are growing and would like a new team member that would like to grow with us.   

The person must have a valid work visa if necessary.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Data entry into Xero for all 3 companies - AR & AP's

The person will also need an understanding of  Zero Rating with regards to GST 

Payment Schedules for 20th month payments

Reconciliation of accounts on a daily basis for all bank accounts

Accounts receivable follow ups in the way of monthly statements

Freight /Shipping paperwork and  Packing of goods where needed

Answering the phones when required

 

 

Skills and experience

We require someone with  Xcel and Word experience

We require someone with data entry experience

We require someone that is happy to work longer hours on occasion if required to get the job done. 

We require someone that is not afraid  to ask, if they should need more information, especially around zero rated GST 

They must know their  way around Xero 

They must be sincere and considerate to others.
