The Company:

Well known company offers this exciting career opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join their team.Build and manage strategic relationships with key grocery, pharmacy and health food customers.

The Role:

The role is responsible for delivering sales and business objectives within the Bay of Plenty/Waikato region. You will maintain effective management of the territory, build on existing relationships and look to develop new business opportunities. It will suit an experienced Territory Manager, with proven customer management skills and previous experience in the fields of FMCG or Pharmacy products.

With a sound understanding of and experience in the Grocery industry, you will be seeking the challenge of a more autonomous role in a dynamic environment and the opportunity to drive growth.

Working with a dedicated team of sales professionals, the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintain and encourage growth of all existing accounts and actively seek new business opportunities.
  • Manage and build a strong relationship with Foodstuffs & Pharmacy accounts.
  • Achievement of budget and distribution objectives.
  • Identify new accounts in the region.
  • Establish territory objectives with National Field Sales Manager.
  • Develop promotional strategies to assist in achieving objectives.

Skills & Experience:

  • It is essential that you have previous sales experience within the Grocery industry.
  • The ability to work autonomously and implement trade initiatives and look for a return on investment.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer skills.
  • The ability to form and maintain long term customer relationships.
  • The ability to manage complexity and pick up the product knowledge is also required.
