We have a great opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to provide support to our Director of HR. You'll be part of the Business and Administration Support Team who provides executive support to the Corporate Services Branch Directors. This is a supportive team and a welcoming and engaged environment.

This is a busy director so you'll need to be an experienced, confident professional, who thrives working in a fast paced environment.

Key requirements for this role are:

  • Advanced diary management experience with a focus on being able to manage a diary that is very busy and changes often. Your ability to maintain a level head and calmly manage ‘busyness' is essential.
  • Ability to manage the Director's office, always thinking ahead in advance to ensure that the Director's time is well planned, enabling them to meet internal and external priorities and commitments.
  • Be comfortable supporting a Director that works a “paperless office”, is an advanced user and enabler of technology to the business and uses the tools to manage her daily plan, so you must be tech savvy.

  • Excellent relationship management skills as you will be interacting with senior level managers both within MPI and externally. Our ideal candidate will have worked in the public sector and have a good understanding of the machinery of government. In addition, you will have previous experience providing 1:1 support at a senior level (supporting at tier 3 or above).
  • Possess the ability to provide exceptional 1:1 support to a Director, while also being an effective member of the Administration Support Team.
  • Reputable for being the go-to person, who exceeds all expectations whilst juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.
