The Company

Our client is a nationwide distributor of electrical products and services to electrical contractors and industrial users. They are in an exciting growth phase and are looking for an experienced Corporate Services Manager, ideally with a background in property management but preferably with some knowledge across the fleet sector and broader facilities management sectors.

The Role
This position is an exciting opportunity for someone to make the role their own. The key function of the role is to support the business with a focus on the property and fleet portfolios. This will include the day-to-day management of over 100 vehicles and 47 properties. You will have day to day contact with both internal and external customers and will have a significant impact on the businesses future growth path.

Key responsibilities
  • Work closely with Regional Management and other stakeholders to renew, negotiate new arrangements or assist in preparation of business cases for relocation's or new sites
  • Oversee branch relocation, upgrades and re-openings from a property management perspective
  • Manage the fleet network to optimise and provide savings
  • Monitoring of GL relating to property, fleet and facilities areas to ensure costs are accurately reported and managed
  • Liaising with landlords and the fleet provider
  • Work on and oversee other specific cost reduction or optimisation projects
  • Management of two support staff
