We are a Financial Services Group that is seeking an IT Systems Co-ordinator for our Auckkand CBD office.

The position is to provide operational support an assist our Financial Advisers by managing our Communications, Websites, Computer and IT systems.

We are an office of 10 people and we use the IT systems for

  • Communications and information feeds to our clients
  • Data Storage and
  • Data Processing.

Areas of Resposibility / Required Experience

  • Primary point of contact for the company IT requirements
  • The ability to install, troubleshoot, maintain and support equipment and services
  • A thorough understanding of networking fundamentals
  • MS Windows Small business server
  • Integration of Mac's into PC environment
  • MS Exchange (via a 3rd party supplier)
  • Active Directory
  • An understanding of most internet protocols
  • Mainaining remote servers and assisting users
  • Security of the company's information systems, networks and data
  • MS Office / 365 support
  • Hardware maintenance and support including PC's, Macs, portable devices, printers / scanners, phone systems
  • User system support
  • Web site maintainance and development
  • Maintaining web based databases
  • Mainatin web based CRM systems
  • Knowledge of Cloud based environments
  • Acquistion of IT equipment
  • Integration of IT systems from business acquistions
  • Regular reporting on KPI's e.g. Website Hits, Email openings etc.

Overall Objective

To develop the company's client advisory base and manage the overall communications and IT systems so that the company and our clients gain maximum benefit from the information flows whilst controlling costs.

Type of Role

This is a full time role.

Location: Central Auckland.

The focus is to help fellow staff to learn various skills so they are confident undertaking their tasks without constant reference to the IT Systems Co-ordinator.
