Executive Assistant to the CEO

Support the Group CEO to get things done right across this Australasian business, Lead, coordinate and collaborate on projects, events and initiatives, Contribute to the performance and success of the Board, Executive Team & Group.

Landpower Group is a successful New Zealand owned company and a leading provider of agricultural machinery throughout Australasia. Enjoying long term brand partnerships with premium European manufacturers including CLAAS, AMAZONE, JCB and Grimme, Landpower delivers integrated machinery solutions and support through its CLAAS Harvest Centre dealership network.

As you will appreciate, the role of Group Chief Executive Officer of this exceptional Kiwi business is a busy one and a talented Executive Assistant to the CEO is needed to ensure the work gets done and the Group meets its business objectives. The accountabilities of this motivated, "go to" person are broad and will continuously develop: they are likely to include all of the below and more:

  • Assisting the implementation of Group projects through co-ordination, administration, research and analysis – or by simply doing what needs to be done;
  • Planning and running key events including senior management meetings and international supplier visits;
  • Proof reading the Board Report to ensure its ready for distribution – and ensuring the report is distributed to the Board members in full and on time;
  • Taking ownership of business improvement projects including the review of supplier arrangements and recommending options to enhance efficiency and profitability;
  • Administering the executive payroll processes; and
  • Drafting timely and appropriate communications on behalf of the Group CEO to ensure effective organisation-wide communication.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a tertiary qualification and you will have developed your career to date in commercial or professional services roles – ideally in law, commerce, marketing, operations management or HR. Your drive and willingness to develop yourself professionally will have focused your sights on a bigger commercial path and you will be able to see the potential in this role.

People will describe you as a "go getter" and someone who is always prepared to get stuck in to sort out problem or get the work done. A strong communicator; you will innately know how to build positive working relationships across an organisation and your empathetic yet organised and structured approach will allow you to connect with people while getting the job sorted.
