We are looking for a storyteller to join us at one of New Zealand's most trusted charities – the Cancer Society of New Zealand.

The role is based in our National Office located on Lambton Quay. The purpose of the role is to:

• assist the Cancer Society Divisions across the country to create amazing videos and photos as educational and marketing tools.
• co-ordinate and manage national media and communications activity.
• produce content to promote campaigns, including Daffodil Day and Relay For Life and the support services delivered by Divisions to people with cancer and their whanau.

The ideal person for this role will likely have:

• Experience dealing or working with the media.
• Expert audio-visual skills (can plan, film and edit videos).
• Fantastic written skill's – this apostrophe and sentence should be driving you crazy!
• Digital experience managing social media and websites for an organisation.
• Ability to work within a variety of diverse cultural and social settings.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in communications, media or marketing, with a willingness to travel domestically and a can-do attitude.
