The newly created General Manager, Government Services position will manage and lead three teams: Government and Executive Advisory, Ministerial Services, and ODG Support Services, and will work closely across the Office of the Director-General and the Ministry to manage and deliver insights and high quality strategic advice to Ministers on governance effectiveness/appointments and non-DHB Crown Entity organisational performance.

This role will also act as “second in command” for the Executive Director (tier two) and will cover the responsibilities of the Executive Director in their absence.

To be successful we're looking for a highly skilled leader who can take us from good to great! You'll have experience in developing and driving change and business improvement initiatives, and a collaborative and inclusive style. You'll be skilled at thinking broadly and making strategic decisions and presenting recommendations and navigating a large, complex organisation.

If you think you've got what we're looking for, we want to hear from you! Apply online with your CV and cover letter outlining your background and your interest in the role.
