Are you a Senior OT or Physiotherapist who can provide professional qualified support for, advice for and clinical links between ACC and Ministry of Health criteria and service provision, then this could be the role for you. You will be giving advice to professionals who are recommending/requesting equipment for clients so you must have previous experience in this area.

This role is growing and we need need 2 more Professionals to complete the team........................

Your responsibilities are to:

  • Maintain professional registration and HPCAA

  • Develop and maintain positive and lasting relationships with key external people and organisations

  • Provide relevant information, professional support and advice to customers within a timely manner

  • Encourage and appropriately direct feedback from internal and external customers

  • Process requests in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ACC & Ministry of Health criteria and our client's processes

  • Participate in and/or lead key projects for , ACC and Ministry of Health as required

  • Liaise with key internal team members/departments to develop and maintain efficient business practices

  • Attend regular Advisory meetings and Professional Advisory Team meetings

  • Provide support to our client in terms of recording and reporting as required

  • Assist in the development and implementation of effective budget management strategies

Qualifications:

The crucial part is that you must have specialised knowledge; assessment skills, experience and knowledge with the following equipment provision:

  • Complex personal care equipment – adults / paediatrics including complex standing frames and complex walking devices
  • Wheelchairs – manual/ ultra-lightweight / power – alternative controllers high specifications including complex seating
  • Vocational rehabilitation including Communication Assistive Technology
  • ACC experience or previous similar experience of ordering MRES equipment with the above group of clients and Ministry of Health experience of ordering EMS funded equipment with the above group of clients

Relevant Health Professional/Clinical Qualifications;

Senior Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with relevant Clinical experience is necessary. This an office role 0830 to 5pm daily.
