Through a holistic approach, we identify the needs of and best fit for each participant. We then walk them through a tailored programme which includes literacy and numeracy training, career counselling and planning, communication, cv and cover letter creation and interview skills, coaching and support, and job, apprenticeship or higher education opportunities. The opportunity will also involve your ability to utilise your background in matching and profiling candidates to potential employers to achieve employment outcomes for our customer.


To be successful in this role you will have:

• Strong links within your Waikato Pacific community

• A commercially focused attitude but able to put people and families in the Pacific community first

• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and influencing/mentoring skills

• You will need to be confident with presenting to large groups and relate to a wide range of people

• Flexibility with hours of work and have the ability to self manage

• Strong work ethics with a lateral ability to assist in resolving complex issues

• Full NZ driver's license along with your own vehicle. There is a mileage allowance if the office vehicle is in use

• Intermediate computer literacy

• Full security check

• Lastly you will have a sense of humour, be a team player and have a competitive nature to be number one
