Safety Industry, Auckland- Northland Territory, Privately owned and operated.

Paramount Safety Products is one of New Zealand's leading PPE safety wholesalers, with key distribution partners nationwide. The opportunity has arisen due to unprecedented growth for experienced sales professional to focus on their existing distributor network, as well as to hunt for new business around an Auckland-Northland territory. This role will report through to the General Manager, and you will be focussed on growing their presence across both their distribution partners and end users.

In this role we are looking for a driven and self-motivated individual who can work alone as well as seeking help from the support team around them. You will have a solid sales background in a B to B environment and you will be comfortable with both pricing and forecasting.  Your interest and knowledge of the Safety sector would be advantageous, although industry experience is not essential.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Develop product and service solutions in accordance with the customer requirements.
  • Provide expertise in industry leading practices and continuously uncover opportunities to add value.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to ensure continuous growth and adhere to key performance indicators.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a Sales Representative, Territory Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or similar position.
  • Understanding of the safety industry or similar
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage with a variety of people at all levels.
  • Exceptional relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Collaborative team member with the ability to drive outcomes and work towards team goals.
  • Qualifications in business, safety or similar disciplines are desirable.
  • High level of trust, integrity and self-motivation is essential.
  • A current full New Zealand driver's license is required.
