About the business and the role

My client is a leading services firm. Their friendly and supportive team resides within the heart of Auckland CBD. They are looking for an individual who can slot in with a close knit team but is equally happy working autonomously. You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager but as there is a large autonomous component to the role, you will have the flexibility to work from home from time to time, if you wish.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The main parts of this role include: Accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, and other ad-hoc tasks to assist the Finance Manager. This role has plenty of scope and you will be given the opportunity to continue your learning, assisting with end of month/year accounting.

Skills and experience

My client is looking for someone who has at least two years of experience in either Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable that is looking to spread their wings and expand their accounting knowledge. This role would suit a self-starter who doesn't mind trying their hand at different tasks.
