This is an opportunity to work within a small and supportive team of finance professionals.  As the Embassy Cashier, you will be responsible for the receipts, disbursements, examination, safekeeping, accountability and replenishment of funds.

To be considered for this role you must have completed secondary school and have at least three years of experience in technical/clerical accounting or bookkeeping.  You will also have knowledge of the local banking procedures, including handling and recording cash transactions, and procedures related to deposits and check accounts. Experience with MS Office applications, in particular Excel, is essential.  Accurate data entry, the ability to interpret and apply regulations, and an understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles is also required. Your strong customer service ethic and good organizational skills will enable you to manage your time well and your well-developed communication skills will allow you to maintain effective working relationships.

The starting salary for this position is NZ$54,821 gross per annum with some special benefits e.g. both U.S. and New Zealand Holidays - an approx.. total of 20 days; and 8.7% contribution by the employer to an employee's retirement.
