Financial Assistant, Be involved in more complex accounting work., Enjoy a healthy work / life balance.

The Opportunity

As the Financial Assistant, you will be working closely with the finance lead in a range of financial functions.

You will provide financial and admin support across a wide range of tasks including payroll, month end, accounts payable and banking, offering you a varied workload.

This is an excellent chance to further develop your understanding of working within a larger business and providing you with an opportunity to be involved in more complex accounting work.

The Role

You will work closely with the Finance Lead in a range of financial functions.

However, the role is not pigeon-holed as you will be working across different areas of the business.

  • End to end Payroll management for PAYE and Contract staff
  • Accounts Payable processing for multiple divisions of the business
  • Assisting the senior finance team in GST & Accounts preparation
  • Produce monthly financial reports
  • Provide support to the wider finance function as required

Your Profile

  • 3+ years? experience working in an Accounts role
  • Have experience working within various accounting packages
  • Be skilled in using MS Office / Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with professionals at all levels
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced and changing environment
