Payroll Administrator, Challenging and busy Payroll position based in Christchurch, Long established global business.

The Opportunity

A Payroll Administrator is required to join this long established, global business, based out of their Christchurch office.

Covering the NZ Payroll, you will work closely with the finance team to ensure that the payroll operation is run efficiently, giving you the opportunity to demonstrate your legislative and processing skills as well as bringing your flare and knowledge to the role.

Given the high-volume and busy nature of this role, we are looking for someone who is highly organised, enjoys solving problems as they arise and has the ability to work autonomously and efficiently.

The role would suit someone who has experience working within a corporate environment and is looking to challenge themselves further.

A premier chartered accountancy firm, this multi-disciplinary business is known for providing their clients with exceptional service and enjoys a client base that includes a number of household names when it comes to New Zealand businesses.

The Role

This role will see you work closely with the finance team and will require someone who has previous experience in a Payroll position, is technically knowledgeable and has a strong understanding of NZ Payroll legislation.

Your Profile

  • 3+ years experience working in Payroll
  • A good understanding of legislative requirements and changes
  • Experience working in a corporate / professional services environment
  • Ideally had exposure to working with an ERP systems and good Excel skills
  • Strong organisational and problem solving skills
