Our client is one of the largest and most successful Digital Media Agencies globally and they have a large offering in Auckland delivering high quality Digital Media for some of NZ's biggest and most successful corporates.

Position Overview:

As a senior Client-facing role, the Senior Account Manager - Digital (SAMD) takes responsibility for the digital delivery to an account, or portfolio of accounts, and helps to lead a team comprising planner/buyers across all media channels. This team works together with specialist business units to deliver against agreed business results for the Client portfolio. This role also may include responsibility for workflow management, digital upskilling and operational improvements across the wider Client Service team.

Major Goals of the Role (SMART):

1. Develop self and team with support from CSD develop self, direct report(s) and other team members into a group of well- rounded, digitally-literate and high-performing people - from digital silo to digital by design. Satisfy Clients and partners and deliver exemplary service to the Client portfolio, and build and maintain exceptional relationships with Clients, media owners and creative agencies

2. Deliver the work and deliver pioneering digital communications solutions that drive consumer demand and deliver business results to clients ? from buying media to buying growth

3. Mind the business - understand the commercial performance of the portfolio, be mindful of productivity, and recognise opportunities for revenue and profitability growth ? from media team to business team

Required Capabilities:

Critical skills and level of experience required

Education

Undergraduate degree or above

Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in digital media communications or similar industry
  • People management and development experience
  • Significant experience with large Clients
  • Digital specific experience:
  • Digital media planning and implementation - digital media formats and metrics, buying (compensation methods), campaign set up, tracking capabilities, reporting and
  • Understanding of all digital disciplines (SEM, SEO, programmatic buying, social, mobile etc.)
  • Media and billing systems e.g. DFA/DART, Sizmek (Mediamind), Nielsen NetRatings, Google Tools (i.e.Analytics), Facebook, Google Partners Certification is an advantage
