New Zealand's leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial products and wire ropes and cables with a reputation for quality and services to its large customer base, seeks an ?Account Manager to pro-actively manage the business' customers. This role is based in the South Island and reports directly to the Branch Manager.

As the successful applicant, you will possess excellent customer service skills to develop and maintain existing relationships and have the drive and ability to provide tailored, innovative solutions with commercially savvy outcomes. These include assisting with developing forecasts, financial objectives and business plan objectives.

You will be responsible for the identification of significant opportunities and the negotiation of commercial agreements, with both new and existing customers. You will have successful experience in sales, marketing, account management, negotiating complex sales contracts covering pricing, risks and service delivery.

You will be constantly liaising with a number of key internal team members. The ability to work positively and collaboratively is essential to achieve shared goals. You will ideally have a tertiary qualification ?. It is essential that you have some years experience in a? Customer Relationship Management role within the southern region of New Zealand, especially Christchurch, as well as a proven track record in securing new business.
