Accounts Receivable Officer

PPCS is a contract cleaning service provider with branches throughout the North Island. We have a successful track record in delivering quality services to our clients such as schools, universities, commercials, local and central governments premises and etc.

 An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join the established finance team. 

Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, your responsibilities include:-

Key Responsibilities include:

  • End to End Accounts Receivable including processing client invoices and credit notes, new account credit checks, debtor settlements.
  • Prompt sending of invoices and statements to clients
  • Reconciliation of Debtors ledger through to the General Ledger
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Client inquiries 
  • Debt Collection - including weekly reviews
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as required
  • Prepare a draft A/R Budget and Reports
  • Check and allocate the Work In Progress as part of month end closing.
  • Addition  duties  could be allocated by the  Finance : Team leader as and when required .

Key requirements and skills

  • Greentree advantageous but not essential
  • Excel to intermediate level
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Process driven
  • Understanding of accounting principles
  • Great time management skills

This role is ideal for an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who feels comfortable working with accounts processes and practises.  This is a pivotal role in the company where you will be able to make a positive impact through your interactions across the business and in the wider market.
