Due to internal staff movement, we have an exciting entry level position that we now need to find an A Player to fill! Do you want to be part of great payroll processing team?

Affinity is a clever HR/ Payroll/ Workforce management system that many Australian and New Zealand customers rely on every day. Our mission is to "Organise employee information to increase productivity" and everything we do is aligned to our vision of simplifying the complexity of managing people through the use of our clever technology.

Our outsourced payroll processing division is based in Whangarei, and provides services to a multitude of small, medium and large customers across New Zealand and Australia.

This role is full time, and our ideal candidate should also be willing and able to travel for short periods when required within NZ and to Australia.

Job tasks and responsibilities

You might not have prior payroll experience, but you should possess the skills, and more importantly a passion for further development in this area. In addition to the many rewarding challenges that working in payroll offers, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing payrolls on-time & accurately for all scheduled and off- cycle pay runs.
  • Processing employee manual ad hoc payments and customer third party payments on time & accurately
  • Supporting the team by managing office administration tasks
  • Receiving, managing & responding to customer & Third Party queries in respect to reporting outputs and ensuring that queries are responded to in a timely, accurate & professional manner.
  • Assisting the FMS Transition & Support Team Leader and FMS Team to achieve successful transition of reporting services into Affinity's FMS model, by completing tasks allocated by FMS Transition and Support Team Leader
