We employ more than 2,100 people in over 60 locations across the country and stock more than 74,000 product lines from concrete to paint and plasterboard.

PlaceMakers Riccarton are seeking a driven trade account manager to join their high performing trade sales team. Reporting to the Trade Sales Manager, this role will require a proven performer with a track record of developing new business, as well as maintaining and growing a portfolio of existing customers.

You will be responsible for the achievement of set revenue targets by maximising sales opportunities with strategic key accounts and developing multi-level customer relationships. You will become a champion of our brand, attending networking events to promote the business and develop an expertise in the products and services being promoted to market.

We are looking for a clear communicator with a genuine desire to grow and develop to ensure delivery of set revenue targets and other key deliverables for the branch. You should have proven experience in being able to articulate solutions and added value to the customers that you have serviced in the past. While building industry experience is not essential, it is highly desirable as will assist with understanding customer needs from a technical perspective.

You will be energetic, enthusiastic and very capable of quickly building rapport with new and existing customers. You will lead by example, set high standards for yourself and enjoy new challenges.
