Are you all about numbers? Here at Gardiner Knobloch we are passionate about helping our clients succeed. We have an opportunity for an accounting clerk / administrator to join our great team. This is a key role in our forward thinking, family focused Chartered Accounting practice.

You will be a numbers person, detail orientated, results focussed, efficient and organised, with a high level of data processing accuracy. You take ownership for the work that you are responsible for and communicate well with your colleagues, following up with them to ensure deadlines are met. You are a friendly, positive team player that is keen to learn on the job.

The main function of this role is taking full ownership of our income tax system, working directly with senior staff to maintain the accuracy of this system. If you have previous experience in tax administration this would be an advantage, however full training will be given. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be part of the wider support team assisting with reception and a range of duties including some payroll processing.

Your technical experience includes 3+ years experience in a bookkeeping or business management role (or in a chartered accounting practice) with a sound knowledge of NZ payroll legislation. A detailed job description is available on request.

The role is 20-25 hours a week over a minimum of four days. Salary is negotiable based on skills and experience.

Candidates must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
