The Company:

Tricroft Properties is an Ashburton based, family owned company that investments in commercial property throughout New Zealand.

The role:

We are looking for an experienced accountant/bookkeeper to join our busy Ashburton office for approximately 20 hours a week. Days and hours of work are negotiable but will need to fit with our payments and reporting cycles. The majority of hours will need to be completed at our offices.

This key role supports the General Manager, and includes a broad mix of financial and management accounting tasks, supported by a part-time Financial Assistant.

The successful applicant will take ownership of the accounting and finance functions of the business, including:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Bank reconciliations and cash flow management
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Regular management reporting as well as ad hoc projects and analysis
  • Payroll
  • Assisting with the year-end financial statement preparation
  • GST, FBT and other statutory requirements

Your background:

This will suit an experienced person looking for a flexible, friendly and dynamic working environment. Key attributes include:

  • CA experience and qualifications
  • Minimum three years commercial accounting experience
  • Proficient in Excel and Xero
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the commercial property investment sector would be an advantage
