Accounts Assistant

BH Group manages a range of hospitality businesses operating from Britomart and nearby locations including Ostro & Ebisu restaurants. This role will be joining the accounts team that looks after all aspects of the administration of the businesses.

The role is currently for 30 hours per week with the potential to be full-time as the business grows. The role may suit someone returning to the workforce or someone who is looking to work during the school hours.

The primary purpose of this new role is to provide support to the existing accounts team of three across all the routine accounting functions.

Specifically, you will be asked to perform the following duties:

  • Process purchase invoices for all the companies in the group
  • Reconcile creditor statements
  • Assist with document management
  • Assist with billing
  • Assist with weekly Payroll
  • Any other accounting and admin duties as required

 You must have:

  • Accounts payable and payroll experience (although training will be given)
  • A positive attitude/appetite to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
