ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT

FULL TIME

We have a great opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our client's' small Head Office team based in Penrose reporting to the senior Accounts Administrator.

Key Tasks include:

  • Processing invoices including: matching to purchase orders, data entry and querying variances
  • Daily reconciliations of intercompany accounts
  • Assisting with Creditor reconciliations
  • Assist with other associated accounting and administrative tasks including general admin, filing and assisting managers with the creation of documents
  • Training in other areas including Bank Reconciliations and setting up Creditor Accounts

           

You will operate efficiently in processing work and meeting deadlines and will be keen to help out where you are needed.

In addition the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate:    

  • Previous accounts payable experience
  • An ability to problem solve
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • A confident user of accounting software and Microsoft Word and Excel
  • An ability to communicate effectively with other accounting/administrative team members and with senior management

 

In summary, the successful candidate will be someone who is: proactive, technically competent, a problem solver, adaptable and has prior Accounts Payable experience.
