Our client is looking for a Finance Manager - Operations to join their finance team. Reporting to the CFO and with one staff report, this role will deliver financial leadership to the operational units across the group. An integral part of the success of operations, the role includes financial and management reporting and partnering with the business to achieve strategic and operational objectives.

You will take responsibility for and apply your knowledge of best practice manufacturing and operations processes to provide direction, guidance and insights across:

  • Operations and supply chain reporting and analysis
  • Business partnering with operations, including factory management, engineering, quality assurance, supply chain and logistics
  • Inventory and stock control and processes
  • Transparency and understanding of production productivity by factory and line
  • Manufacturing and NPD costing and analysis
  • Operational financial planning processes and systems including long term plans, budget and rolling forecasts
  • Cost monitoring and variance analysis
  • Monitoring and reporting CAPEX spend
  • Operational improvements and identification of cost reduction or minimisation initiatives

You will have the following:

  • CA (or similar) qualification
  • Five + years post qualification experience
  • Strong systems, including ERP and management reporting/business intelligence systems
  • Prior experience within manufacturing, including an in depth understanding of costing
  • Proven background in management reporting, budgeting and forecasting
