The Job

We are on the look out for a part time Payroll Administrator to assist the Auckland Regional Payroll team on a fixed term contract through to March 2018. You will be required on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8.30am to 4.30pm with the possibility of a Thursday as well if required.

You will be responsible for liaising with our Shared Service Centre staff, collating weekly timesheets and assisting with payroll queries. This is a busy role in which you will need to have high attention to detail, great organisation and prioritisation abilities, as well as excellent general computing skills.

The Candidate

Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position and will be able to display confidentiality, discretion and integrity values as well as being customer service focused. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent general computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Understanding of payroll processes
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong data entry skills
  • Proficient organisation and time management skills
