Due to company growth and expansion an exciting position has presented itself for an exceptional Accounts Assistant to join our clients team on a part-time basis.

Reporting into the Managing Director, you'll be responsible for contributing to our client?s financial sustainability as the sole Accounts Assistant.

This role is a permanent part-time opportunity and offers 20 hours per week (approximately) for the successful candidate.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Full debtor / creditor management
  • Bank reconciliations and supplier enquiries
  • Preparation of invoices / documents and data entry into Finance systems
  • Royalties / Rebate processing and monitoring
  • Petty Cash
  • Month end processes
  • Bi monthly GST return preparation
  • Supports the business in achieving key performance measures and provides relevant and timely reporting of these measures to the Managing Director
  • Proactively and accurately maintains data within organisational systems
  • Works towards the businesses strategic vision and goals
  • Lives and breathes the businesses values
  • A key member of the client relationship service team
  • Primary point of contact for customer and supplier invoicing queries
  • Liaison with Part-time Company Accountant
  • Covers for Business Administrator / PA across peak and / or annual leave periods
Key skills and qualifications require:
  • Proven experience operating in a similar Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant level role
  • Exceptional Communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Experience using MYOB (preferable) and BuilderTrend (advantageous)
  • Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail
  • Impeccable organisational / time-management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload effectively
  • Solid reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • High levels of professionalism
  • Strong relational and influencing skills
