Are you looking to go into the New Year with a new job?

Our client has an international presence. They are one of the largest CA firms in New Zealand and also have one of the best reputations. This role will suit a self-motivated, career focused and commercially minded Auditor who is CA-Qualified and has experience within the New Zealand market. Being at a larger organisation, this role is varied and requires someone with a broad level of experience to date, so it is likely you will have experience at least within a Mid-Tier firm or above and exposure to large scale complex corporate clients as well as Not-for-profit and?larger group structures.

These sort of roles don't come around too often. This is a rare opportunity in Christchurch to join a large Audit and Assurance division at the Senior level. You will need to demonstrate exceptional numerical skills, logic, and maturity in your thinking, along with excellent communication skills. This is to ensure you both fit in with the rest of the team at the firm and so you are able to develop strong rapport and relationships with clients.

You will be required to be the sole Auditor on a wide number of jobs from planning stage, gathering evidence through to conclusion, however you will also be expected to perform the role of Auditor in Charge supervising junior staff with some clients and also play a part in assisting on more complex audit assignments.

If you enjoy building and maintaining relationships, have excellent communication and systems skills and wish to work with an extremely diverse and enviable client base compared to what you have been used to then please apply accordingly.

To be successful, you will require:

  • A minimum of?2 years CA experience (ideally 3-5 years).
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to engage with our clients
  • Strong knowledge and experience in audit assignments
  • Professionalism and a positive 'can do' attitude
  • Strong desire for professional development
  • A Good team player
  • Excellent Excel skills
