Hands-on Accounting role reporting into the firms Directors, Well established company with a proud history, Greentree Software System experience essential.

Our client is a well-established, multidisciplinary client focused consulting firm, experts in the resource management, engineering and surveying industries. They pride themselves on their high standards and consistent record of providing clients with high quality services.

They have two offices and approximately 70 employees. As the Management Accountant, you will be liaising directly with the firms Directors to provide timely and accurate financial information. You will have the support of two part-time accounts people, providing payroll and administration assistance.

You will be looked upon to provide advice and drive improvements involving the accounting systems and processes. They are currently using Greentree, therefore experience using this system is essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for efficient financial account management for the company
  • Preparation of profit and loss statements
  • Preparation of documentation for external accountants
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable
  • Responsible for payroll
  • GST and FBT returns
  • Manage the company Southern Cross Health Care Group scheme
  • Prepare monthly debtor report
  • Maintain debtor database
  • Banking
  • Ad hoc administrative duties

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience in payroll, credit control, debtors, GST, FBT, profit and loss, balance sheet and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Greentree Financial Software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products
