The Account Manager position we are seeking to fill, focuses predominantly on the proactive fostering of client relationships: both new and existing. It requires the ability to maximise client's sales opportunities through a consultative approach aimed at finding the best advertising solutions for the individual client.

Reporting to the General Manager Sales &Client Services, the newly created role is based in Auckland, supporting the company's entry into and growth within the New Zealand market.

What You'll Do

  • Primary responsibility is to identify, retain and grow new business revenue through digital advertising solutions within the territory
  • Utilise a consultative approach to deliver the best advertising solutions to clients
  • Maintain strong relationships with the current customer base
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships within the relevant industries
  • Develop high quality proposals and templates to support the sales process
  • Keep up to date of industry trends


Experience and Qualifications

  • Previous media sales and/or digital / online experience (ideally 2-3 years' experience)
  • Track record in direct sales
  • Experience & knowledge of sales based environments in the automotive industry would be an advantage
  • Sound written & verbal communication skills with strong Powerpoint presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to strike an even balance between sales skills & relationship through a consultative, solutions-based approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer focus & rapport building skills
  • Exemplary time management & organisational skills
