Office Manager - with Accounts, Albany location - FREE parking on site, Take ownership of this role.

This local North Shore business has been established for decades, and is a successful distributor of audio equipment. Many of the staff here are long standing employees due to the down to earth company culture and the stable work environment.

We are seeking an accounts all-rounder to handle the day-to-day financial operations as well as monthly preparation of documents to the external accountant.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Trial Balance and General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Credit Control
  • Payroll for 15 staff- Ace Payroll
  • Daily cash flow reports
  • Reconciliations

To be successful in this role you will be organised and proactive. You will enjoy establishing internal and external relationships, have outstanding accounting experience with the ability to work under pressure at month end.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will also have two direct reports in the administration team who manage stock control, shipping, and customer service. You will enjoy working as part of a team, as during busy periods you will assist in these areas of the business.

Though you love accounts, you don't mind lending a hand in other areas when needed. Above all, you will need a can do attitude, the ability to multi-task with exceptional attention to detail. Technically, you will have good data entry skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and if possible experience with MYOB EXO.
