The Opportunity
As the Payroll Administration Officer your role plays a very significant part to the running of this business.
Covering the NZ Payroll, you will work closely with the finance team to ensure that the payroll operation is run efficiently, giving you the opportunity to demonstrate your legislative and processing skills as well as bringing your flare and knowledge to the role.

Initially this role with be on a temporary contract basis, with a view to go permanent for the right individual.

The Role

ThePayroll Administration Officer is a member of theFinanceTeam and is responsible forrecording, processing and ensuring payment of salaries/wages to meet this companys employment contract, audit and legal obligations. This requires being familiar with all aspects of the payroll system and maintaining a working knowledge of payroll related changes instigated by the IRD and other external parties.

Your Profile
  • 5 years + experience in NZ payroll
  • Had exposure to computerised payroll systems
  • Ability to process a pay run for large organisation
  • Up to date knowledge of employment legislation;
  • Excellent attention to detail with sound numeracy, reconciliation and accuracy skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and to be deadlines
