An opportunity exists for an experienced Account Manager to join our sales team in the Auckland South Territory (CBD, South Auckland to the Bombays. + East Auckland). Reporting to the National Field Operations Manager, this role has responsibility for building and maintaining effective business relationships with a diverse customer base predominantly across Pharmacies and Health Stores that can include natural health practitioners, colleges, pharmacists, natural health retailers and distributors to expand sales and profitability of the Integria Healthcare brands as well as the Independent brands and product lists.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving the annual financial performance for the allocated territory and customer base
  • Proactively managing of the customer call cycle to achieve the agreed customer call rate
  • Increasing market access of key Integria Healthcare focus brands, Thompsons and Thursday Plantation and also our Independent Brands
  • Managing and developing some large key customers within this territory that are crucial to the NZ business
  • Ensuring implementation of strategies for promotions, pricing, ranging, placement and product displays
  • Representing and promoting Integria Healthcare and its brands at exhibits, trade shows, conferences and seminars where required
  • Providing dynamic market intelligence on competitor activity and general market activity
  • Contributing to the strategic development of the company, especially in the area of customer sales, marketing and margin management

The Person
We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven Account Manager who;

  • Has a demonstrated record of achieving sales targets
  • Is Degree or Diploma qualified in Marketing, Commerce, Business or Health related fields (desirable)
  • Is a dedicated team player with outstanding communication, time management and negotiation skills
  • Has a background in a similar role in pharmacy, health food or FMCG channels within natural healthcare
  • Focuses on customer service and development of internal and external relationships
  • Displays excellent analytical and business development skills
  • Is self-motivated, proactive and works autonomously with drive, passion and initiative
