Spotless Facility Services (NZ) Limited is seeking to recruit a Site Quality Auditor to join our Facility Maintenance team delivering great outcomes to Housing New Zealand Corporation based in Auckland.

Under direction of the Quality Manager, the Site Quality Auditor is responsible for implementation of the Inspection & Auditing Regime of Building Maintenance works in their designated zone. The Site Quality Auditor shall liaise with Internal staff, HNZ Representatives and Subcontractors to ensure compliance is achieved in relation to service delivery. The Auditor will also ensure company policies and procedures are implemented by the internal staff and the Subcontractor base and will represent the Spotless HNZ Contract Team to resolve contractual issues that may occur from time to time with HNZ.

Key Result Areas

  • Compliance Site Inspections & Auditing
  • Undertake planned site Pre-inspections of Responsive & Planned Building Maintenance works in their zone (meeting Contract KPI requirements as a minimum).
  • Undertake Site Post Inspections for Responsive & Planned works to ensure the contract post inspection KPI targets are met for the zone.
  • Undertake Work In Progress Site Inspections of Responsive & Planned works in their zone, ensuring Contract KPI targets are met.
  • Raise Business Improvement Forms (BIFs) for all non-conformances identified during inspections and follow-up completion of outstanding corrective actions.
  • Undertaken additional Site Inspections and/or Auditing of Subcontractors and/or internal staff and processes in accordance with the monthly Inspection & Audit Focus & as directed by the Quality Manager
  • Undertake Internal Auditing of Spotless staff and processes as required.
  • Provide a Monthly Inspection & Auditing Report detailing all the Inspections completed during the month for their zone with commentary and trend analysis of non-conformances raised.

  1. Operational Management

  • Assist with the documentation, implementation, monitoring of contract processes and Procedures.
  • Effectively communicate with Spotless HNZ Contract Team personnel, Works, Subcontractors, Tenants and HNZ personnel.
  • Provide technical Quality related advice to Works Supervisors, Team Leaders and Subcontractors as required, to assist compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
  • Adhere to and promote the Companys Quality Management System (Certified to ISO9001:2000)
  • Review Subcontractor SWMS at signup and authorizing if they meet all NZ legislated requirements.
  • Prepare monthly reports on progress/completion of audits and investigation reports as required

Prescribed Qualifications

  • Auditing qualifications or quality auditing experience in the Building Maintenance field
  • Formal qualifications in a related discipline (i.e., Building Trades background would be advantageous).
  • Relevant Training Qualifications or Training Experience

It is essential that the Site Quality Auditor is capable of working with little supervision and has the maturity to know when to seek advice in order to ensure standards and procedures are not compromised.

The successful applicant will be dependent on passing a Criminal Records Check.

The position comes with a Company vehicle (restricted use only) and Company mobile phone. Full uniform will be provided.
