Our client is looking for a loyalexperienced Senior registered nurse who is looking to move up to a clinical managers role...someone who has excellent communication and people skills to manage the hospital and rest-home.

In this hands-on leadership position supporting the Facility Manager, you will have the opportunityto apply your resident centered approach to the provision of care and support for the residents.Your advanced clinical knowledge will support theirclinical and care staff to achieve even greater heights for the facility. Comfortable rest-home and and hospital,this is a lhomely environment to work in.

You may already have clinical management experience either from the DHB or from residential aged care.

  • Identify staff development needs and undertake, support and foster their development

  • As well as up-skilling, coaching and mentoring of the nursingteams you will alsofoster critical thinking and encouragea culture of continuous improvement.

Be part ofa very supportive management group in aged care where residents and staff come before profit in this privately owned organisation

You will

  • You will astutely manage all the staff and resources of the facility while strongly leading and motivating your team to deliver safe, effective, high quality care tothe residents.

  • Be a registered nurse with a current APC and have goodclinical knowledge and be InteRai trained

  • Havegood communication and leadership skills

  • Have demonstrated planning and organisational skills.

  • Have a sense of humourand enjoy very much working as part of a close well functioning team both within the clinical unit but also at a senior level within the organisation

  • Help meet occupancy targets and meet or exceed all resident service delivery requirements.

Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm
